Course Description -- Conversational Intro to Spanish Class
By the end of this course you will know how to read, count, present yourself, greet people, express age, ask simple questions, talk about yourself and about other students. Small Spanish texts will give you some cultural background on Spanish speaking countries and the Spanish language.
The student will also learn some grammar such as subject pronouns, conjugations of regular and some irregular verbs in the present, singular and plural forms of adjectives, question formation, negations, gender and number, expressing possession through possessive adjectives, use of likes and dislikes, express destination and indicate location. These grammar skills along with new vocabulary will allow the student to construct his/her own sentences boosting his/her speaking confidence and ability.
This combination of grammar, pronunciation, introducing vocabulary through short dialogues and useful expressions will give you basic and immediate speaking abilities.
Our small class size - on average 6 students per class - will make the difference when learning Spanish.
You only can learn Spanish if you actually try to speak it!
With us you will have the opportunity to speak and practice at least 100% more as if you were sitting in a classroom with 12-15 students.
Good language instruction depends on quality instructors and quality speaking time.
