Level 1 Students will be able to talk about nationalities and occupations, introduce each other, discuss the times of meetings and business hours, shop, exchange information about dates, destinations, and transportation, talk about floors and positions, count different types of objects, and exchange the information about what they do, they will do and they did using regular verbs.
Level 2 Students will be able to count people, discuss whereabouts of things and people, talk about how frequently and why they do something, describe things, people, and experiences using adjectives both in the present tense and the past tense, talk about giving and receiving gifts, invite someone to activities and make plans with someone, offer to help someone, accept or reject someone’s offer, discuss someone’s likes, skills, and interests, and talk about what they want to do
Level 3 Students will be able to talk about length of stays and travel times, getting on and getting off means of transportation, and departure and arrival times, ask for and grant or refuse permissions, ask someone not to do something, express ongoing actions and resultant states, ask and tell if you’ve finished an activity, tell their health, and exchange information about a mutual interest, describe two or more consecutive actions, make requests, and give directions.
Level 4 Students will be able to refer to indefinite places, things, and people, state and ask preference, solicit suggestions, express the comparative degree and the superlative degree, express their trials, get information or advice, and ask for and offer explanations using “んです”form, state decision, connect related sentences using “~で”or“くて,” to express a reason or purpose to go somewhere, express frequency within a time span, and talk about past experiences. |
