INTENSIVE CLASSES
Starting in June, Seattle Languages will offer 2 types of intensive programs.
The first type will last for 40 hours and will cover the Conversational Intro level and the level 2 class. The second type will last for 60 hours and will cover the Conversational Intro level, the level 2 and the level 3 classes. All intensive programs run Monday through Thursday thus allowing students to have a long weekend. Please check the schedule for more information.
STUDY GROUPS
In 2008 Seattle Languages will start to offer small class size study groups in languages such as German, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and Russian.
Study Group classes are for those students who want to learn the language at a faster pace, compared to larger classes. In such classes students still can take advantage of an almost private setting getting more personal attention from part of the language instructor.
This type of "small private" group class costs 3-5 dollars more per hour than our usual group classes. Study Groups are limited to 4 students and meet for 1.5 h per session.
TRANSLATION & INTERPRETATION DIVISION SPIN-OFF
Since inception in 2003, The Link Group LLC, dba Seattle Languages International, has not only served the community of Seattle with language instruction but also with other language services such as translation and interpretation.
Almost 5 years later, in May 2008, Seattle Languages International decided to create an independent company for its translation and interpretation division.
Circle Language Solutions LLC, the new spin-off, will be headquartered at Seattle Languages International’s main offices and will be hosted on www.seattlelanguages.com until further notice.
Circle Language Solutions LLC is proud member of ATA – the American Translators Association and NOTIS, the Northwest Translators & Interpreters Society.
CREDITS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Our Language School is pleased to announce that as a provisionally accredited school we are in the process of becoming fully accredited by the North West Association of Accredited Schools.
Our accreditation status gives us the possibility of giving credits to students who have attended a series of our language classes. Most High Schools in Washington State will recognize and accept our credits.
